Balsamic Steak Shish Kabobs

A summer time favorite Balsamic Steak Shish Kabobs are delicious on the grill.

Balsamic Steak Shish Kabobs
I just love everything about these Balsamic Steak Shish Kabobs.

Veggies, and meat, barbecued on a skewer. We love to use zucchini, bell peppers, red onion, mushrooms, tomatoes, pineapple, and corn, are just a few of the possibilities.

Watching the kids eat off the skewer in pure bliss like it's corn on the cob. Or maybe its just not summer without grilling some shish kabobs
.
Whatever the reason is I'm excited for the sun and many more nights this summer of different versions of Shish Kabobs.

Are you in need of a tasty cocktail to enjoy with your Balsamic Steak Shish Kabobs? Make sure to check out Mango Pineapple Mint Daiquiris and Pink Grapefruit Lime Margaritas. Both are perfect summertime cocktails.

Here's how I make Steak Shish Kabobs:

Combine:
  • tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Granulated Garlic
Add 1 1/2 pounds Sirloin Steak and marinade beef for 1-2 hours, or overnight.

Steak Shish Kabobs with a Balsamic Marinade is a family favorite easy healthy barbecue recipe from Serena Bakes Simply From Scratch.

After meat is marinated, skewer meat along with desired vegetables.

We like to use onion, bell peppers, zucchini, mushrooms, pineapple and sometimes tomatoes. The possibilities are endless.

Brush remaining marinade over the veggies, and cook on a hot grill until meat is desired doneness.
Mmm.. I can't wait to make Steak Shish Kabobs again! The marinade is amazing.

How do you soak the bamboo skewers? Just in water? Also, can I marinade for longer than 2 hours? Thanks!

Hi Lisa, Yes just soak the bamboo skewers in water and the marinade could be done even the day before. Sometimes I will even freeze the meat in the marinade so I'll I have to do is remove it from the freezer and defrost! Please let me know if you make them! Have a great weekend!

Excellent marinade, I like the balance. Going to up the hot sauce next time, I've never had spicy shish kabobs.
I do mine under the broiler on the second highest rack. 2 minutes per side.
