Since we've been friends for sometime now I figure I probably should share these Crock Pot Baby Back Ribs in Homemade BBQ Sauce and if your feeling a little extra saucy like us you can eat them between a crusty bun with a few dill pickle chips and some sliced red onion.
They are soo good and soo messy but a girl needs a reason every now and then to lick the sauce off her fingers.
These are perfect for that excuse!
I promise the man sitting next to you won't care your smothered in bbq sauce he'll be too busy lick'n his fingers or trying to lick yours..
Yes these are that good!
If your lucky he might just be so dang smitten he'll wash the dishes too but I can't make any promises in that department.
Combine ketchup, water, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, hot sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, worcestershire sauce and molasses in a large crock pot.
Cut rack of ribs in half if needed to fit into the crock pot. Coat ribs well in bbq sauce, place meat side down and cook on high for 6 hours or low for 8-10 hours.
Rotate ribs about 2 hours into cooking and baste with bbq sauce as needed.
Once the meat pulls easily off the bone the ribs are done.
We could totally just call it good hear and serve these babies with some potato salad and a veggie or you could keep reading to see what happened next..
The bones should pull out easily from the meat. Remove bones.
Now grab yourself a good crust bun.. I used my Homemade Crusty Hamburger Buns recipe but you can grab some at the store too, if you don't have time..
Then add enough boneless baby back ribs to cover the bun and drizzle with bbq sauce from the crock pot.
Top with dill pickle chips and thin sliced onion.
Now thats a sammi!
