7 layer Taco Dip recipe post is sponsored by Safeway.
7 Layer Taco Dip is one of our favorite things to snack on since it's so easy to make. It's perfect for busy weekends or for something a little bit heartier at your next tailgating party. Sometimes we'll even make it for a quick and easy dinner on a busy weeknight.
I love how easy it is to make and the fact it always gets devoured without a complaint.
One of my goals this year is to try and make sure we are all eating healthier. I'm not one to count calories, but I do like to opt for healthier options. Less preservatives, organic, and as natural as possible.
O Organics®, available in my area exclusively at Safeway, makes this easy with their high quality products at an affordable price. It's really an easy switch to make towards healthier choices without making a huge lifestyle change.
I frequently find added discounts on so many of their products using the just for U® savings tool and stock up for later! It's another part of my New Year's resolution to save money on groceries whenever possible and Safeway makes that possible.
First you'll need 16 ounces O Organics Organic Grass Fed Ground Beef.
Break it up until fine and add 2 tablespoons Chili Powder, 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder, 1 teaspoon Cumin, 1/2 teaspoon Smoked Paprika, and 1/2 teaspoon Salt. Cook until brown, and add 1/4 cup Water. Cook until most water evaporates and hamburger is cooked through. Keep warm.
Stir in a 1/4 cup Water, and 2 tablespoons Diced Pickled Jalapeños. Heat until warm.
If you're looking for another quick snack you can stir in a cup of cheese with the jalapeños for an easy cheesy bean dip. It's another family favorite.
Layer ingredients starting with warm refried beans, then seasoned hamburger, and spread about 1 1/2 cups O Organics Sour Cream over the top.
Cover with 12 ounces O Organics Guacamole.
Add 1 1/4 cup of your favorite O Organics Salsa. We used the Medium Chunky because we like a little heat, but not everyone in our house likes it hot.
Cover generously with 1 1/2 cups O Organics Mexican Style Cheese Blend and microwave for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted.
Top melted cheese with 2.25 ounces Drained Sliced Black Olives, 1/2 whole Diced Tomato, and a small handful Chopped Cilantro.
Serve with O Organics Tortilla Chips. I like to mix the Blue Corn and White Corn Tortilla Chips.
I buy all my O Organics products and the ingredients I need to make 7 Layer Taco Dip at my local Safeway and Albertsons stores and you can also find them at all Albertsons Companies family of stores, including ACME, Jewel-Osco, Vons, Pavilions, Randalls, Tom Thumb, Shaw's, Star Market, United Express, United, and Carrs/Safeway.
